POPCORN!!!
i'm so glad my sister is back safe and sound..
watched flushed away and happy feet (where there was an unfortunate incident with the popcorn hmph) yup :)
i'ts nice being a whole family again, but when she came back with tons of pics and videos with her friends and macleans and auckland it made me miss it AGAIN... and that is getting annoying.
got an idea for a present for jeli and it involves turning. anyone who wants a Christmas present, say so on the tagboard. yup.
should be sending off cards soon
went to borders today to get the second season of greys' but oh guess what i forgot to bring the voucher which was found happily sitting on my bed when i got home. hmph. that was waaay worse than spilling the popcorn. hmph.
argh, frustrated that i cant stop missing macleans. how annoying.

yay! i've finished a lot of my Chirstmas cards :) averaging 2 a day but yesterday i got up late coz i slept late so i only did one.. but oh well.. i've got 5 days to finish them all, and that's plenty of time :D

sigh it has to be bright and sunny today, it was like pouring yesterday and we had to go out for lunch. talk about annoyance.
HMM. i really hope i did the right maths homework that a CERTAIN SOMEBODY told me.. coz if not it would be 90 questions (not counting sub-qs) wasted and also that CERTAIN SOMEBODY would also not be extremely liked by me .hmph.

anyway, went to watch the covenant with carissa and bryan and daniels the day before yesterday and am feeling incredibly slack coz iv'e only done half a Christmas card but my homework is nearly all done.. bought over the hedge and the lionboy series from borders that day too coz i needed to use the vouchers heheh.. better save some money for my Christmas presents.
i've got something special ~* it's a surprise for when you get back hee hee :D
went swimming yesterday got a fantastic tan, you can see the line where my boardies were haha
going to look for a blogskin.. it's Christmastide :)

just upgraded to some new blogger thingy i have no idea what's new but oh well :)
ethel and aly are off on megacamp in the lush rainforests of malaysia, and jeli's working on the job attachment thing, and if i may so proudly announce that i have finished all my maths homework for the holidays and am very pleased with meself :D
15 more days til we can be a whole family again, i really can't wait
november is slipping away and i havent even started on my Christmas cards yet! humph. i realy have to finish every scrap of stupid holiday homework (which soo does not build character) by this week so i can start..
i'm really hungry.

"what's in a name?"
had lit today, analysed the sense of belonging summore.. a lot of the stories there are based in aussie and newzealand. and the book is also called "a sense of belonging" and it seems very unfunnily ironic coz i've been missing nz a lot lately and i dont know why.. well, maybe it was after looking at the macleans webby and a whole lot of memories came back and i just to make it worse i went to take a lookie around the pictures just to see what i was missing out (big mistake) so now i'm feeling a little miffed, a little annoyed at myself for being miffed and also a little nostalgic.
AND i dont even know whether i feel nostalgic coz i want to feel nostalgic or whether i really do feel nostalgic. and then i thought maybe it would be better if i just say that i'm feeling nostalgic coz i want to so it'll be easier to get over it, but then it would be admitting that i actually really do feel nostalgic and it's not good to repress your feelings, (if not you end up attempting to push pple over cliffs), so yea then what? and i dont really like wanting to be somewhere where i can't be coz i just can't so there's really no point feeling like i want to go back.
i was thinking about that on the bus on the way home, before i realised the aircon thingy above me was dripping droplets of water (or possibly rain from a leak) onto my bag.
anyway, miss f*** or possibly s***, i suppose you're stuck in the mud about having a sense of belonging too about your last name and all, i dunno, but to me it doesnt really matter coz if it was tradition of adopting the wife's last name instead of the husband's, all of us would have totally different last names but we'll all be the same person with the same personality. but i guess it would be nice to know for sure. well, in any case if you stick astericks behind the first letter you still end up with possibly unsavoury words ;)
