hello from home!
spent an awesome day on quarantine today.. up at 10, plus titanic and b+s, h2hs,..
and a couple of lonely meals.. no wonder mum goes out so much seriously.
AND i managed to understand some physics thingys k - so my day wasnt compleeetely wasted. plus who knew the newspaper had so many articles? seriously man, cse gp and econs are going to screw up my eyes =(
anyway, praying for rachel lim! who has h1n1 and helped us get quarantined
today mr jonathan choy thought he knew me better than my sister does. to much unsuccess, obviously. hahahaha.

sometimes it's good to wrap up all your feel in one big present and give them all to God. seriously, what did i do with all of that before i started these 40 days? it's a wonder that i didn't just implode with emotions coming out of my ears
anyway, it hasnt been the best of mondays, but it got better, and it'll keep getting better. yay i'm so excited for what's to come, even though it doesnt involve me. anymore. not actively anyway. hahahah hmm.
Down at Your feet, O Lord
Is the most high place
In Your presence, Lord
We seek Your face
We seek Your face
There is no higher calling,
No greater honour
Than to bow
And kneel before Your throne
I'm amazed at Your glory,
Embraced by Your mercy
O Lord, I live to worship You

it's been a good week on the whole,
my mind's a whole lot clearer now, and i'm feeling good and on track yay =)
was thinking about it this week, and realised that really, if i did have a problem, i wouldnt blog about it for everyone to know, i'd probably just tell you. if you asked. maybe. depends i suppose.
in any case, for me, blogging isnt really an accurate representation of how my life's going because seriously, why would i want to burden people with the going-ons of my life? if i did write everything single detail down, it'd be like reality television or something disgusting like that which people will read to get their daily sadistic fix.
so yeah. i guess this is for a different audience of sorts.
which is why i'm going to talk about harry potter! which i watched on thursday night at 9.50pm hahah.... it was pretty good! won't spoil it for the plot's worth, but thought it was more of a character development movie compared to the rest which was more plot focused and adventurey.. emma watson is awesome, yay, hermione is becoming more and more real, and the rest of the characters are slowly catching up. thought there wasn't much of a climax but each scene was pretty nice on its own, like the shooting of the movie much better than the rest, looked more, i dunno, rustic? it wasnt as grey or headachey as the rest anyway. and i thought they balanced the love stories pretty well, more tasteful than the book in any case. but seriously, ginny and harry look strange together. like really. for one, she's just about taller than him! maybe they should get him higher shoes for their shots together hahahah
so that was the post-movie discussion we had from after the movie til we went to bed at 1am on friday morning haha! fantastic stuff. this is why we are sisters =D
needless to say though, i was completely out of it the whole of friday but miraculously didn't fall asleep during any lessons *beams* which hasn't happened since like what, before ewlc season? hahah. had a good nap in the Room though, while protecting my chocolate from kelvin. hmf. (you know if you'd just asked i might have given you some, you didn't have to try and steal it..)
but otherwise, it was a pretty emotionally rollercoastery week.. but at least i had God to ground me through it all.
you know, i really hate feeling helpless. and i love feeling excited about new things to come

school's started! seems kinda refreshing somehow. dont care much for the social distancing though. as if that could ever happen hahahah. but i suppose they have to look like they're doing something aye.
now comes the sad business of moving on, inevitable but sad nonetheless.

needachocolatefix
geez what a demoralising day.
and worst of all was when i was on the train home, i was thinking 'that's okay at least i have chocolate at home to cheer me up' then i realised i ate the last of my wonderful whittakers peanut slabs yesterday after a very unfun journey to the west then to the east and back again.
so that's two not-the-bestest days in a row and no more peanut slabs =(
but i did see some at someplace the other day, i should've bought the whole box then. ho hum.
so anyway i went home and had some icecream instead - strawberry ripple with lots of chocolate sundae sauce and chopped nuts i found in the fridge so that made me feel a bit better.
shaun the sheep helped too. well, just a little =)
one more day! then i can get on with my life and start studying for prelims. yay.
the strange dreams havent stopped, they're fairly amusing but seriously..

ugh what an achey weekend.. completely immobilised on the couch on saturday, even though i did have my darling aragorn as consolation =D watching lotr is like going to another home because it's just so familiar.. just need to hear the soundtrack and i know which part their at haha. of course it doesnt help that it's filmed in nz too.
feeling particularly like being somewhere else this weekend.. just had the strangest yearning to be back in kmg just now. think it was from some smell the rain wind brought through the window..
i dont think this is a good sign, that i'm already looking forward to the next holiday.. can't really be bothered to study anymore, just feel like blobbing. or watching shaun the sheep! hahahah
watched silence of the lambs the other night. by myself. not a good idea by the way, for other people's future reference. make sure you have all the lights on too okay. anyway, anthony hopkins is brilliant. like wowing fantastic..
that night i dreamt that voldemort was trying to kill me. a combination of bad movie choice, too much harry potter and exam stress methinks. hope there isn't anymore to this.. it was kinda scary coz he was all humane and stuff, like he took the escalator up from the train. instead of, i dunno, flying? haha. and he wasn't much of a shooter with a crossbow either.. he missed like 3 times before he got me. but it didnt hurt much in my dream..
ohwell. why cant i dream of something nicer, like johnny depp or something. maybe i should load up on the pirates instead.
what a whole lot of rambling nonsense, and a waste of time for people reading it. unenriching and unconstructive. it's so not been my weekend.

From Shane's blog -
I walk down the corridor, my mind adrift in my imaginations, of pirates and
lightsabers and waffles. All of a sudden, I see a friend of mine sitting down at
the benches nearby, studying for an exam. Wanting to lighten up the mood, I
march up to him/her and say, " \insert name/!"
Startled, the person loses their focus and looks up, anger, irritation, or
else amusement in their eyes. Looking absolutely serious and enunciating every
word, I jab a finger at them and say, "Pull. My. Finger!"
0...0...0
I can think of several people and how they'll respond.
Rachel Ong:*rolls her eyes* Whatever, Shane. (note: She might not even
reply and just go back to studying)
can i just say, that shane you have never spoken a truer word, and i was rolling my eyes even as i read it HAHA
