merry Christmas everyone!

i love Christmas :) the church service was really nice today, the chinese interpreter was a little __ but it was still good - it was about what Christmas was really about, which incidentally is about being forgiven by God and friendship with him..

wish we had the house decorated and a tree up though, but maybe hopefully next year in a bigger house..

went to hougang mall for lunch after church and jie got a sim card and a free phone which is now mine coz she's already got a good one so it's all very happy and cheery :D

whoo hoo!

back in singapore and it's pouring! would've thought we mayhave brought back the song but no luck with that.. hmm

cleared my desk today! and i found my geog homework in the deep depths of my bag, undone of course; argh i'm so not in the mood for hmework - chem, english or geography. yucky yuck yuck.

ooh i decorated my homework diary for next year, totally in love with it heehee guess who's staring on the whole back cover - no prizes for those who do get it sorry mates

really want to watch eragon! hopefully it'll be soon.. then i can give out presents to people which i have to dig out from the suitcases and all that mess..

my sister's 18th birthday today, got a log cake from dino's for dessert yum yum and i have charged my camera so i will have battery *sigh* not like last time and th time before that and the time before that

oh fireworks from disneyland outside atm which is pretty cool.. :)

well today we went back to disneyland to relive the best rides like indiana jones and splash mountain and tower of terror and space mountain and all those funky ones :D

oooh AND we sat this awesome rollercoaster called california screamin' and that was so good, we sat it twice and the second time jo and i got front seats and that was the best! it made everything way more thrilling and we screamed our heads out! wheee.

flying tomorrow so wont be blogging for a bit. well at least for a few days anyway...

sushi and chicken and mac and cheese for dinner tonight. YUM. :D

well now,

back in la again which is great coz the hotel we're in is real nice and it as wireless internet which i set up all by me onesy hehe so yep :)

today we drove and drove and drove and drove from the grand canyon which was a really long way away so we slept and watched greys! yay!! and that was very nice coz we watched the 2 bomb episodes which are my favourite ones :D and they also have breathe so it's extra nice. also as well (brief interjection by her favourite sister.. "aren't you going to mention the fact that we didn't get superb photos?")

because of the mcdreamy part which was very very very nice and that completely erased the horrible fact that we did not in fact get superb photos.

ANYWAY we didnt get any gorgeous photos from the grand canyon because i didnt charge the camera becuase i thought it briefly ran out of battery BUT was revived again coz i warmed it up so i didnt think it would run out of batt coz it was charged the day before happy now? hmph. yes. so i got yelled at before nine o clock so dad got his fix. hums.

yes well it was a good day anyway because the greys was nice.

haven't blogged for a little long while, since i left disneyland... so yep

we drove through this really cute town and all the buildings were built dutch style and it was so adorable and the danish pastries were yum and very huge. :D yep and there was a parade of people dressed in native dutch costumes singing Christmas carols, like proper ones with no santa claus and all that nonsense, and it was really sweet.

um, after that we went to gilroy - which is real close to sanfrancisco and had these awesome factory outlets for like quiksilver and roxy and it's way cheaper than at the real store so i got my hoodie! its realy nice and warm and cream coloured and fuzzy inside and i cant think of where i'm going to wear it in singapore.

well that was that day, then we went to san fran the next day and that was realy nice coz we went to the the golden gate bridge and took lots and lots of photos which all turned out really really well and sf is such a funky place to live! it's seems waaaay better than los angeles city of angels my foot.

but unfortunately we didnt get out so i couldnt find any hedgehogs! or even pocupines that look like hedgehogs so that was really sad and miffedy.

had a realy awesome lunch at fiserman's wharf and the sky was such a gorgeous blue and the salmon was yum too. and we saw the alkatraz prison all alone on it's island surrounded be freezing water which is a pretty good idea and so far no one has escaped from there except one but they never found his body.. yea..

well that was sunday..

yesterday we went to vegas baby! that was pretty funky too the lights were totally cool! bright and shiny ya ;) before that we got stuck in a really bad traffic jam out on the freeway so we listened to one episode of greys and watched one so i got my mcdreamy fix and that was good :) breathe by anna nalick and edge of the ocean by ivy are officially my two fav songs from the greys soundtrack :)

once again, i love greys and everyone should watch it when they can. hearts to mcdreamy!

and today we went to the hoover dam and it was absolutely freeeezing! the temperature was close to 0 degrees and even my awesomely warm roxy hoodie wasnt enough.

but then we drove more and more and the sun came out and it was beautiful up in the mountains then it started snowing. yea. SNOWING!! and that was so gorgeous and beautiful and totally breath taking. unbelievable. totally. like wOW. so we got out and stomped around in the snow at -5 degrees and nearly got my hands frozen to the camera but it was all worth it coz it was so beautiful.

makes you wonder how the big bang theory could ever exist because bits of stuff slamming together jsut cannot make such beautiful things.

but the grand canyon was also totaly wonderful! it's undescribly beautiful. awesome. absolutely awesome. it was even more picturesque than anything else i've even seen. simply gorgeous.

i loved today. and root beer floats made it all that much better too :D

went to the californian theme park place yesterday - tons of fun!

went on the rapids ride, twice. and got soaked both times, jo went 3 times and barely got wet at all LoL just her luck

and the HOLLYWOOD TOWER HOTEL is sooooo awesome it jsut chucks you up and down in an elevator ride thing and it's soo freaky! :D :D went on it again today hahha it really doesnt get old

and neither does splash mountain! mustve been on that like 5 times by now haha

the weather is soo nice here, jeans and long sleeves and jacket kind of thing

i still want to get a hoodie fro somewhere, possibly san fran coz there arent any intersting ones around here in the disneyland shops

and i might really possibly get the very very very awesome jack sparrow hat!!! its so sad that its xpensive though aye. hmph.

japanese for dinner, very very full now. and sleepy. :)

universal studios tour tomorrow, have to get up early. earlier than usual anyway.

cant wait!

calf length toe socks and three quarts

chilly outside :D

disneyland! happy atmosphere, Christmas decorations, colourful, cheerful, bright and shiny ;)

got warmer, toe socks went down, 3quarts went up

everything is so detailed, every single building. exactly as in the movie.

first ride, peter pan :) then snow white, pinochio, mr toad! bobsleds, 'it's a small world after all!" :D

other funky as rides, space mountain! splash mountain!! big thunder railroad - mine carts :D indiana jones :) YaY alyssa!

pirates ride was also good, thinking of getting jack sparrow's hat :)

and also a hoodie :)

fireworks at night were awesome!! synchronised with the music, Christmas lights up. gorgeous.

starwars simulator, lasers in space with sound. remembered fizzix thing. FizziX on holiday??? good grief.

southern dinner at River Belle. so good. salmon in real nice sauce, baked beans, coleslaw, corn cob, corn bread. absolutely yum.

got home at 9. left hotel at 9. was out for 12 hours! feet are totally sore.

havent watched grey's for 3 days?? HOCK SHORROR!

i miss mcdreamy.

disneyland is everything you'd expect it to be.

went to the hollywood walk of fame today, it was soo awesome! and also went into this really funky hollywood museum with all this old holywood stuff like marilyn monroe's dresses and signatures from gone with the wind and everything!

of course we went to johnny depp's star and took photos before my camera battery died but it was really cool :)

los angeles is relly not as glam as it appears. it's really quite disappointing. yup.

going to disneyland tomorrow! been waiting for ages :) hope it's not so nippy as today, it's truly winter weather minus the snow but it's real like auckland weather and i really want to buy a nice warm hoodie. yum yum yup.

HOLLYWOOD IS TOTALLY OVERRATED.

yep,

just finished flying 12 hours with a one hour stop in taipei, we crossed the international date line so when we reached it was only half an hour after we took off.

missing my grey's fix today, but i did watch 3 episodes before i left so it should tide me over ;)

had instant noodles for dinner but it tasted soo good after not eating for about 10 hours.. plane food smells yukky.

i dont think it's sunken in that i;m in america right now, in a hotel just next to disneyland

last night i dreamt i went back to newzealand instead of america and i distinctly remember being estactic and practically skipping down richard avenue and i didn't think it was a dream. and i woke up and felt terribly cheated.

i dont want to want to go back to nz, i just want to be happy here.

i miss mcdreamy. siiiiiigh

going to los angeles tomorrow, it still hasnt sunken in yet. and all that i can think of is that i'm going to be missing out on 16 days of greys. not counting the days of jet lag and stuff. aaand the next episode of season three is only coming out on the 4th of january. so the whoooole month that i'm in america it's not going to be showing. siigh.
