umm. i think i've had this blogskin before now, i distinctly remember the green and why i changed it so quick.. green's not my colour either. ohwell

holidays! like finally, but that's just the official name given to it - more like a study break? or time to study, or time that you perceive to be restful but actually probably wouldnt be so. am i the only one who thinks that holidays should be really holidays? hahah.. i'm just thinking of nz holidays where absolutely no one would go back to school, not even the teachers.. only to use the playground maybe. well those were the days

went out with the gang on friday =) to seoul garden, after a night of lying awake, a morning of truly God's grace with the paper, an afternoon of laughing and udders, and an evening with my dears. really enjoyed it, and i miss sec 4.. things seemed easier then, but i was also much blinder then as well.

amazing how much 2 years can change people huh? sharpens and weakens at the same time.

love you Father, thank you for showing me a whole lot of things this year. just slightly hesistant to ask what it's all for hmm..

hello everyone!

i'm just going to say, that i really like brothers and sisters, and i think robert is so cute. though i dont really think much of the name robert, but he's slowly changing my opinion of it hahaha. i think i still remember robert from like primary school? he was quite awful. oh well =D

today has been okay, the meeting's been long overdue i think but yeah it was good.

i think it's time to change blogskin, the grey is really getting quite dull.

maybe i read too many people's blogs, and they weigh me down coz i see them there and i dunno how to help. so to spare people from feeling sad after they've read my blog, i'm going to blog about happy things even if there are not-so-happy things going on right now.

it's the last week of school next week, yay! so that's fantastic, finally i can sleep without feeling guilty and breathe a bit slower =)looking forward, to a good break and rest and time with my Dearest. might even be going up to a resort in msia to chillax hahahah, which sounds nice, but i think i might have to bring some work up there to do.. but never mind, this will tide me by until Christmas comes.

ohman, chocolate mudpies are absolutely heavenly. yumminess to the max =D food for thought next k? the cakes are awesome. dont go without me! and also there's udders to look forward to soonish.. my life revolves around desserts hahahah.

i'm really quite excited about what starting in school, even though we rushed into it, almost without thinking. but now that i take a step back and look at it, man what we're doing is AWESOME. the level of excitement that we're giving it is less than it deserves methinks haha, but to be fair, we're all half dead and tired out from running for so long..

so what keeps us all going? its so easy to just break off from this, coz it's only a couple of months more. but again it's the question of who are we working for? ourselves, the cca, the college, or for God. coz seriously, only one of those will sustain you forever. sometimes we stray from that focus, but we just need to be realigned before it's too late.

it's been a week of tears and heavy hearts, but here's to people who care and love us, to joy, to the hope that we have, to friends with comfortable shoulders, to pizza,kfc and coffeclub, the colour blue, airconditioning and bed.

wow what a week.

realised i sat in kelvin's car 4 out of 4 days this week. ohman, i'm sorry! i'll pay you back for all the free rides some day.. =D

lots of stuff's been done though, so that's pretty awesome, with the proposals and whatnot.. this is what i've been dreaming of all this 8 months i've realised. was looking back at my past quiet times and the stuff i prayed for and thought about for sfc:

a year of action (james 2), a year of the Lord's favour, His signet ring (haggai 2), of rising up and claiming the land for our own, of gathering and uniting and breaking through.

and with the june camp coming up, and the recruitment it all seems like it's falling into place! can't believe i forgot about all of that though =( was reading it again and totally did not remember writing those down..

think sometimes we take God's word for granted too much, when we should cling to it because it's so precious.

was quite freaked out by the lack of time we have to plan.. (jem you're coming back at the right time man hahah) but i just read in 2 chronicles 29 that hezekiah cleaned up the whole act of the temple and sacrifices plus mobilising of people in 17 days which is less than the 3 weeks that we have.. so it's fully possible, really.

but i need to start studying properly. like really.

how i went from school to kallang starbucks is beyond me. all i remember is being chivvied into a car. but whichever.

it's nice to have something to do again, i feel like my mind is happily occupied with something worthwhile =) and then i reached home and remembered that i have a maths test tmr. *shrugs*

i can't wait for sunday! all my nice food is coming =D and you too, of course hahaha.

i think i was made for this kind of thing.

oh dear, i can't believe i did that.

why is it that princess diaries is so much easier to read than gp notes? my timetable is sitting on my desk and mocking me. grumps.

jie left for chiangmai today, why is everyone going away!? okay it's only two people but still. i wanna vacate too! double grumps.

i woke up this morning morning coz of the thunder, i think it shook my awake. then i looked at the time and saw it was 6.40 and beamed because it's sunday and i wouldve been soaked if it were any other day, before i fell asleep again. haha

rev edmund chen spoke at the 9am today, it was really quite awesome. like seriously, fantastic stuff. he's going to be speaking at church camp too, but i cant go coz it's in june and i'm supposed to be studying...

i just want to sit down and think for very very long without feeling guilty about not doing anything studies related. somethings are just so much more important than academics which makes you stop thinking - there's a lot to what makes a person.

i want more chocolate thins, and whittakers peanut slabs! even though i still have some from when jie came back from auckland.. but still, you can never have enough whittakers peanut slabs =D

ohman i love grey's anatomy all over again! loves loves. *beams*

didn't really follow the timetable so whatever. i should start though, like soonish. i did a bit of gp though, but that's about all.

so glad that it's a long weekend again this week. i feel like sleeping like all the time. heh

yesterday was ewlc thanksgiving dinner =) ohman, i miss them. and everything in it. not that i'd want to do it again anytime soon, but it was fantastic.

but i have to get out of this slack mode and start working again. we had starbucks after and now there's lots to think about. a lot of things to pass on to the next generation and someone has to start soon. we always think it's not us, but then things wont ever get done right.

so that's not going to happen for us this year. get ready people! we're not going to stay comfortable.

oh no i feel like i'm neglecting this blog.

oh! the house is getting painted by mum yay =) now the walls are a nice turquoise and light blue and they are super happy to look at.

went shopping with sammie and looyee on friday afternoon hahaha double chocolate frappes are the schizzles =D we all bought a dress from max and something at far east.. couldn't find a backpack though but ohwell. realised i hadnt shopped for like 4 months since Christmas which is pretty sad, really. at least i still know my way around town heh.

oh but sunday is worth mentioning...

it was a typical sunday, all 3 of us raahing through all the drawers and whatnot looking for something to wear to church, amidst consistent yellings of 'ohno i'm going to be laaaate'. which is all good coz mum and dad have gone for the 9am service and arent there to witness this weekly chaos.

so anyway i leave the room for a split second, and the next thing i know, there's this shriek from the room and a 'um, rach, i hope you dont mind but....'

because my dearest jo has emptied the entire contents of my drawers onto my bed in a bid to find my sisters jeans which weren't in there anyway. so suddenly there's like a frenzy and everyone's drawers are empty and the beds are full of mountains of clothes with jo standing there with some manic grin on her face, jie staring in disbelief and i'm just not sure if this is all a bad dream.

i had a picture i wanted to put up, my the computer's being cranky so maybe another time..

so anyway, for future reference, you might want to think twice before putting all your daughters in one room.
