i'm the youngest person going on the mission trip this dec. yep. all the other so called youths are 18 plus. if only ethel were going then there'd be 2 of us and a whole lot more fun. yea, feeling kinda iffy about it, but it's time to get out of the comfort zone coz everything's going to be new from now on..
i can't believe i'm changing schools again. i'm moving every 1-2 years now, the longest i've ever stayed was in pigeon mountain primary from yr 4 to yr 6. even that was only 3 years. ah well, i guess i'm pretty used to it by now.. seasoned traveller. travelled seasoner
anyway. watched grey's today, after a long hard day's sweating over diplomacy and deterrence and fretting over spotting and all that jazz. so i was pebbling over how the boring chapter's almost without a doubt's going to come out and maybe the popularish one too, so that left me with only one question to spot for and i was only going to study for like 4 topics, and suddenly i stopped and thought 'why don't i just study the boring one and be done with it' and it was like -duh- why didn't i think of that before? it's so bizarre how at the same time when your brain is trying to soak up everything it can still think of new ideas? you'd think it'd be flooded by now.. i feel flooded anyway
clouds are such beautiful things,
i felt so energised today, maybe it was the rain - the rain makes me feel alive, it's like the raindrops are filled with some kind of energy, and when it's near you you can't help but be alive. i like that feeling, i think i'll move to seattle with my sister where it rains everyday and we can wear trenchcoats and boots all day. i've always wanted to have a trenchcoat.
i cant remember the song we sang at church today! argh it was such a nice one too. oh ok i asked mum yay!

The Servant King
Graham KendrickFrom Heaven you came
Helpless babe,
Entered our world,
Your glory veiled;
Not to be served
But to serve,
And give Your life
That we might live.
This is our God,
The Servant King,
He calls us now
To follow Him,
To bring our lives
As a daily offering
Of worship to
The Servant King.
There in the garden
Of tears,
My heavy load
He chose to bear;
His heart with sorrow
Was torn,
‘Yet not My will
But Yours,’ He said.
Come see His hands
And His feet,
The scars that speak
Of sacrifice;
Hands that flung stars
Into space
To cruel nails
Surrendered.
So let us learn
How to serve,
And in our lives
Enthrone Him;
Each other’s needs
To prefer,
For it is Christ
We’re serving.
This is our God,
The Servant King,
He calls us now
To follow Him,
To bring our lives
As a daily offering
Of worship to
The Servant King.
