wow it's friday already, posting's coming out on tuesday, last offical soccer training on monday *sob*
ungh. this week went by really really fast, hm, let me try and remember what happened.
o yeah! my sunday was very very fun :D went to church wearing my new necklace haha yay, and after service hannah and the rest of us had a discussion of this saturday which included baked fish, fizzy punch, a MAJOR major death glare, a very confused brandon and tessa with a sore neck. then we went to rachel's house for cny cell gathering and john choy made the yusheng thingy! so we all lo heid and it was tessa's first time haha. and we found out that our cell's in chrage of doing the easter programme for tng and we had a discussion. once again, i'm just sooo glad i joined now and not before :)
at 3ish i left for heng siong's house for an og cny gathering and i made my way there all by myself and was might proud of it :P yiying, lichun, gina, amanda, elysia, joshua, fernando and zuyao were there.. played mahjong (i won once!) and ate bakwa til about 5.. then i left for church to play soccer with brandon and other church guys!
that was tons and tons of fun, they were all skeptical when i got there, they asked if i was looking for the captain's ball (so captain's ball is an acceptable girls' sport and soccer isnt???? hmph.) and i'm like NO i'm here for the soccer. hmph. yeh, so i was on brandon's and royston's team and it was a bit strange at first, but the guys were kinda decent and actually passed the ball, though it was brandon who did it first HEH. yeh, and I SCORED A GOAL! yay :) i didn't even aim i sort of just kicked it out of a tackle and it happened to hit the wheely barrier thingy that we were using as a goal :D and it looked really nice though. pity i didnt see how it happened. *loves soccer* that was soooo my highlight of cny. even the $110 bucks for 2 hours of visiting couldnt compare.
oooh on saturday i spent the whooooooole day making cards - which was the bestest way to spend a day. or maybe second best to the paragraph above :D yeh, i think i finished the majority of them on saturday, or just more than half. soo theraputic.
ah. monday night i panicked and finished making all the outsides of my valentine's day cards for my soccer people. oh all except jiayu's and elyssa's.. umm, after school i went to get some photos developed (again for v day) and then i couldnt fall asleep the whole night. school was boring as expected heh.
tuesday i did jiayu's and elyssa's card and they're my favourites i think and wrote for all of the soccer team except one that i missed out. heh. ended at 12.30am, and completely knocked out, umm, last ct? watched the second bit of the weird ghost cartoon movie and i'm kinda surprised at how much dialect i actually could understand. strange. collected photos and they looked soooo cute! yay :)
soccer on wednesday! but i was soooooo tired from the night before so i couldnt run much. practised striking and i kicked a reeeeeally nice one in, but again i had no idea how to do it again? it even had the nice sound from the grass being sliced. gah. oh well. it was so nice to see everyone again :) had so much fun. and i'm going to miss them so so so much when i leave. gave out my v day cards to most of them and it was generally well received to put it very mildly haha. think tantrums and tugging on sleeves and whining haha. i was so glad when i heard that there was training on monday. OH and i had the yummiest most scrumptious donut from jocelyn after - it had white chocolate on top with milk chocolate squiggles and inside it was melted chocolate *faints* bought chocolate for the next day for my og and random others: v day! girded myself with a bag in anticipation of lots of stuffs yay
and i measured pretty accurately! i gave out one ferrero rocher to each and got back like 3. haha and not to mention the balloons and snickers and timeout and lollipops and marshmallows and all the yummyness OH!. AND THE BROWNIES FROM MICHELLE AND ELYSSA! oh man those were soooo wonderful and
equally good. haha. oh and went to listen in for the lit poetry recital thingy in the library :D
eating peanut mnm's now. *happy place*
mum and dad's wedding anniversary too on v day :) everyone i told was like 'awwww! so sweeeeeeeeet!!' lol. went for japanese buffet at hanabe and took lots of wacked photos featuring jo, jie and wasabi wilson! HAHA. we were laughing our heads off and trying to take all sorts of macro shots and dad was sort of leaning away pretending he didn't know us hahah just kidding. it was really fun :D
and finally! today. friday, last day of the week. gave out a few more cards to the soccer seniors, and had lots of fun today! got a balloon from glenda yay! and og23s2e had lots of fun, playing the clapping hand thingy, and concentration and a little bit of truth or dare at the grandstand :) took tons of pictures of ny today at jasmine's request. saw cjy lots today :S AND gave doreen a card after such an embarassing mixuppy incident. going to watch stardust later at school with elyssa :)
my darling sister can't believe i like marshmallows over gummys. and she asked me to write it down, possibly to make me see the folly of it but i'm sorry i'm so not seeing it.
went to lit lectures this week :) LORD OF THE RINGS ALL THE WAY!! and yay for aragorn and boo to legolas who is a girlyman and a woman HA. muahaha.
geez that was a long post. can't wait for tomorrow! mission trip gathering at myyyy place :)
