a light in the window
it's so delightfully cold and nippy today :) i have the unvocalised permission to say cold instead of cool today by thou nibs because she actually said she was cold today. hock shorror! tis wonderful what global warming can do to even the most determined of declarations.
anywhoozits, today i started on my gp essay! HOoraaaay :D ok i admit that i only wrote a few lines of an essay plan but at least i got it started! hmph. anyway i just realised that i have a week to do it so it's okaaaaay.. gah i stll have the stupid maths holiday homework which completely ruined my morale coz i couldnt get a single question to match the given answers. rraaaarh. yeh anyway, so i did that until about 1 coz i was gonna go out with my og23 pple,
the clouds were steadily getting more and more heavy and coloured in and JUST as i was about to head downstairs they decided to rain like the dam of isengard had been broken. and i was like -.-
so i spent a while complaining and dillying then i went downstairs and mum was stalling me by asking me a whole lot of questions when i was at the door. everytime i turned around to answer her she kept adding 'i think the rain just got heavier' which was NO help at all. so when i finally got past the gate, i walked for 2 metres and the back of my jeans were soaked so i made a pitstop at the busstop to roll them up a bit. they ended up flapping around my ankles when i was at the station.
then the wonderfullest thing happened! before i was griping about how i had to carry a wet umbrella all around plaza sing and when i reached the station i bumped into jo! coming back from piano who was in need of an umbrella yaayyyy :)
yup so went to ps, met yy amanda and amanda's friend for lunch and a movie (HORTON who is soo cute) coz stepup2 was sold out (i was secretly rejoicing on the inside :P) and met hengsiong after the movie and all of us sat around at carl's jr without buying anything. yy was squirming in her seat half the time expecting the staff to send us away haha. it was awesome seeing all of them again though :)
hearing them speak of the goings-on in ny sort of makes me wish i were back there with them, things would be less confusing - my allegience wouldn't be split and i wouldn't have to be half here and half there. but then hearing that there isn't cse because of the lack of people comforts me slightly.
i fished out my old soccer ball from the musty depths of the storeroom. it still has 9Miu written in purple vivid on it and is terribly deflated and punched it on one side heh heh heh. i think i'll bring it to soccer and get it pumped up the next time around coz i dont think i have a one of those. ahh i find myself almost ALMOST wishing the holidays are over so i can play soccer again. I SAID ALMOST!! stop glaring at me!!
tomorrow's going to be the only day in the holidays that i'm not going out. so it'll be full on maths holiday homework bring it on and econs and i guess gp too.
