service was awesome today :)
pastor reuben spoke today, about how to be transformed by the spirit, and the whole sermon was from 2 Corinthians 3.18
'And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit'yeah so he said that whatever we focus on, we'll be transformed into - whatever we expose our minds to, we're being transformed by it subconsciously. therefore if we focus on God and His word then we'll slowly be transformed into it! which is awesome any way you slice it.
and it has to be a continuous process too, like planting a seed.. you have to put it in the soil and keep it there for it to grow. so the seed is God's word, the soil is man's heart, and the plant is our transformation :D and also for a caterpillar to become a butterfly it just eats and eats and eats. so we should feed on God's word all time.
so when we're transformed, we'll look into the mirror and not see our human sins and flaws and our inabilities BUT we'll see God's glory reflected in it, which is God's excellence, grace, mercy, perfection.
and we have the choice to become like that - all we have to do is just focus on God... sure it sounds easier than it probably is, but it's worth it

so i got home, all encouraged and ready to tackle gp when i suddenly remember to check for the PI which i'm glad i did, coz i signed into msn at 4.30 and received the email from mrs lee and 4.31 so i had maximum time to finish it :)
and gone were the hopes of playing soccer today :( but just as well coz they weren't playing anyway. i feel rather accomplished this weekend i have to say.
