wow it's been a while. the first few days of school were same as usual, except that.. oh yeah there was the rugby finals on monday against acsi (we lost) so that was pretty cool. got some awesome pictures which ARE UP on picasa yay :) the labour day pics are up too for dp, mf, alicia and pei fen!
tuesday fizzix test blah. nuff said. also miffed that the stupid security talk was at the same time as the GIRLS SOCCER FINALS AGAINST VJ.
yesterday! was pretty much prepared to not go for the game, figured that sometimes i just had to give up what i like and do what i have to do. THEN shane said that he was going coz sfc was going and that i could probably come too (!!!) and i was super excited and bouncing THEN at assembly mr chay said that only j2s were allowed to go coz the talk ws compulsory so that sucked to the max and i was grumpy for a long while all through maths lecture. THEN it started pouring. and pouring and pouring like badly thunderstorming..
and then it struck me (haha like lightning!) that the weather wasnt the bestest to play soccer in especially not in the artificial pitch at jalan besar, so maybe they'd have to postpone it to another day that everyone would be able to go :) so then i was just hoping it'd keep pouring which was rather terrible and selfish of me coz the team would get their mindset all mucked up and stuff but i still did anyway :/
and it really did keep raining up til the security talk, when suddenly they announced that the match WAS postponed to 5 and the talk would definitely finish faster so we'd actually be able to watch!
prissam said during mw that only God can control the weather, but she was talking about the earthquake and cyclone. and here i was trying to think of every possible legal (or even illegal)way to get to the match and all God did was just make it rain. it was like i totally had no hand in getting myself to watch, i was completely useless in creating the situation coz my hands were really tied and it was very humbling? and putting into perspective-ing like how things that just 'turned out that way' really were specially formed. i told dip that there's only a certain amount of coincidence that can happen, but i really think that there's no such thing as coincidence at all.
and i know it's big of me to say that God made it rain so i could watch the game and it's definitely not true, and if anything this whole incident just made me feel so small, but really very loved that God would even consider my tiny trivial request of absolute unimportance,
maybe just because i brought my camera to school in faith that i would be able to watch the game. there's no logical reason why i was able to watch it, but plenty off illogical ones thankfully :)

yeah so the talk ended at 4ish, went with shane to jalan besar. missed both the goals, but we managed to watch the bestest bit - the penalty shootout :D which was awesomely exciting even though we lost :( but oh well. i was just really in awe of the fact that i was actually there. it's totally the thought that counts
today i was fully prepared to just go home and nuah, something which i havent done for a long time coz we were actually ending school at a sane hour but we had to go watch the girls hockey semis so. that was that gone.
and now jie's in china, and jo's off to camp so i get my wonderful weekend all to me onesy hopefully playing soccer and doing gpp. yay for vesak day! oh man only 5 more days of school left. i can live through 5 more days.
shucks i need to pack for china. so i'm not like JO WHO IS PACKING FOR HER CAMP TOMORROW
NOW. honestly that girl.
