which was yesterday, which was pretty awesome and methinks i'll actually remember this birthday =)

so i woke up at a pretty decent hour and jie was like 'do you trust me implicitly?' and i'm like 'yeeaaahh..?'

'k if you trust me implicitly you should get up now.'

and i'm like mhm. *suspicion* so i get up and get dressed and when i go downstairs all the doors of the rooms are shut. so there's like nothing birthday related on the table, and i ask mum about the doors and she grumbles 'coz the place is a mess.' and i'm like thinking

'so it's not like we're having ppl over or anything..'

but of course i dont say this aloud, after learning at least how to survive with the mother for 17 years. so i shrug and have a pitiful breakfast before i get shoved upstairs to, and i quote, 'clear the room.'

what on earth.

so having lived with joann enough to know something is up i obediently ascend and entertain myself, shouting a couple of 'am i allowed to come down yet's. before sammie calls and asks if i'm at home. which seems like an extremely innocent question at first but with experience with jo AND the ring at the doorbell i knew she came over HAHA. and i heard jo making excuses for me and i'm like whaaaat so i bounded down the stairs and she gave me a brownie! which had my name on it and after it tasted reeally reaaaaally good =)

i think jo had this 'oh no' face when i bounced down the stairs but i thought she was doing something in the kitchen so i was good and didn't look there. and i thought i'd even help her by going over to church for a bit to see the Genesis Project prep but she was like 'NO.' and i'm like 'fiiiine then' and get sent back up again. pfft

then when i start a game of hearts then she calls me down and i'm thinking 'geez you could choose a better time' so i grump down a little and when i get downstairs,

GEN, ESTHER, DUTT, PX AND CORD SUDDENLY APPEAR FROM THE KITCHEN!! and i think i like yelled ohmygosh hahaha

my first reaction was 'is that yiling? isnt she in america??' coz seriously gen really looked like yiling at first glance haha and i was in surprise (not shock so much) for the whole cake time and yeah. IT WAS SO SWEEEET OF THEM! <3

but the biggest surprise was that jo managed to keep the whole thing a secret for 2 WHOLE WEEKS wOw =P
