the song of my week:
StillHide me now
Under Your wings
Cover me
Within Your mighty hand
When the oceans rise
And the thunders roar
I Will soar with You
Above the storm
Father You are King
Over the flood
And I will be still
And know You are God
Find rest my soul
In Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust

it's been such a tiring week, which seems to become more and more normal this year. i wanted to start working this week.. but jem told me to rest so i rested. or tried to at least. and at the end of the week i felt so tired even though i didn't do anything at all.
wrong type of rest perhaps.
yesterday was fusion, went in the morning for reverend wee's bit, about Christ: the Anointed One and His anointing. really good man, was a really good reminder of how powerful we are in Jesus, when we say that Christ lives in us - all the blessings we are entitled to, all the promises God has for us, and the empowering that we have. awesome stuff =)
wanted to stay for the whole thing but ended up going home after that, after lunch with sammie =) went back and slept for a long long time - much needed and much delayed. but after i even managed to read through my cse stuff - then i wasted my time away on facebook. sigh. disappointing night
aunty mary spoke today about spirit soul and body and their relationships, based on the Word. it really got me i guess, and now i'm ready to start anew again what with the Prayer and Fast and the daily breads i found in the mentor's room for my cell. ready to get back in, and i'm glad that we're doing the P+F this year.
i'm going to be fasting from tv and facebook for 40 days, just to let everyone know and keep me accountable. so please dont tag me with fb notes and whatnot *glares at reagan* hahah
i'm really looking forward to this week, starting on ew stuff so that's fantastic - this morning i realised that i'm not the least bit worried about it coz i know that God has equipped me and prepared me for it. and now after the cell leaders' meeting i'm even more sure. work is meant to be done with God, right from the beginning - even if it is His work for Him. if you try and do it alone it's like a little kid trying to fix his dad's watch - meddling in things too big for him. even if the good intentions are there, it takes humility to hand it over and admit that the biggest help you can be is to not do it yourself.
next week's song:
As we worship You, let all the world come and see
How the mercy we received from You can set them free
As we worship You, let all this joy that fills our hearts
Bring a hunger and a hope to those who strayed so far
As we bow in adoration and stand in reverent awe
Show Your majesty and glory, let Your anointing fall
As we declare Your name Lord Jesus as the only name who saves
May the power of Your salvation fill each heart we pray
As we worship You, let all the nations hear our song
Song of Jesus and His blood that proved His love for all
As we worship You, may all the lost and broken come
May they hear Your still small voice call out their names each one
